Recipe:
1 pkg. (12 ounces) frozen petite peas, thawed and drained on paper towels
1/2 cup cubed medium Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup onion, finely diced
1 cup cubed fully cooked ham
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons low-fat sour cream or plain low-fat yogurt
1/2 teaspoon regular yellow sandwich mustard
1/2 teaspoon milk
1/8 teaspoon shallot salt or onion salt
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a serving bowl.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients and stir into salad. Chill for about an hour and serve.
Yield: 3-3/4 cups
